The Skull and Lucerne has made its west coast debut! This weekend went by so incredibly fast, it's hard to remember the key moments of the Alternative Press Expo but here goes nuthin'!

Be Sure not to fly United! After being delayed 6 hours at Bradley due to what our pilot described as, " a strange thumping that [he's] never heard before", we finally arrived in San Fran late last night. We're sataying at the Elements Hotel in the colorful Mission District. It's a very spanish neighborhood and apparently the place where old movie theatres go to die. On our block alone there's five of them. All of which are, boarded up, abandoned, and now only show a matinee which stars two crackheads urinating on a small dog, on the stage where the screen used to be. I love this city...

After four long months of production, my newest venture into the world of graphic storytelling has finally come home from the printing press. My lovely assistant and I will be leaving for the Alternative Press Expo in rainy San Francisco, California on thursday morning, in order to deliver it to the masses. However, before the swarms of Bay Area basement dwellers get their hands on it, The Skull and Lucerne will make it's debut at the Tunxis Writers Festival tomorrow afternoon from 2-6pm.
